Rumors Qualcomm's Snapdragon 830 SoC 10nm production process and 8GB Ram support

Rumors has it that the next flagship all around socket from Qualcomm will come with 8GB of Ram support. The Snapdragon 820 hasn't yet made it's appearance in an actual device, but it seems the industry is really wasting no time, with focus already shifting towards its alleged successor.

The official reasoning behind such a statement is that the next wave of flagships will, in fact, incorporate enough computing and musty-tasking power to make the extra RAM necessary. This theory comes from Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang, who also reassures us that Qualcomm's next beastly chip will be have a model designation "MSM8998".

While the Snapdragon 820 is built on a 14nm process, the Snapdragon 830 (MSM8998) will apparently use an even smaller 10nm process. Its power efficiency will benefit from this move tremendously. Both Samsung and TMSC road maps revealing 10nm production into 2016 ,so it is not too far fetched to speculate that the Snapdragon 830 soc (possibly unveiled in early 2017) will feature a 10nm processor.
